Gen. Muhoozi welcomed the chief executive of Inspire Africa Coffee Park, Tugume, to the PLU, according to redpepper.co.ug. The outlet reported the meeting on Tuesday, 15 September 2026. It did not say where the meeting took place or what the two discussed.
The report identifies Tugume as the CEO of Inspire Africa Coffee Park and Muhoozi as the figure receiving him at the PLU. No further details on the purpose of the visit, any agreements reached, or the attendees beyond the two named individuals were included in the material available.
The item was published by redpepper.co.ug under a headline stating that Muhoozi had welcomed the Inspire Africa Coffee Park CEO to the PLU. Beyond that framing, the outlet provided no additional reporting on the substance of the engagement, and no statements from either party were included.
Because the available reporting is limited to the fact of the welcome and the identities of those involved, the wider significance of the meeting cannot be established from this material alone. Any claims about outcomes, partnerships, or announcements tied to the visit would go beyond what has been reported.
What to watch next: whether redpepper.co.ug or other outlets publish further details on the purpose and results of Tugume's visit to the PLU.
