Apple has introduced the iPhone 18 Pro, a flagship device that brings notable improvements to its camera system and screen technology, according to Spanish outlet Applesfera. The new model was presented at Apple’s recent launch event, positioning it as a significant step forward from its predecessor.
Applesfera reports that the iPhone 18 Pro arrives with enhanced photography capabilities and a refined display, though the outlet did not provide specific technical specifications in its summary. The report focuses on how the new device compares directly with the iPhone 17 Pro, which was released the previous year. The comparison suggests that Apple has concentrated its efforts on two core areas: imaging performance and visual quality.
The launch comes at a busy time for the company, as other outlets in the same news cycle noted that Apple also debuted its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, during the same event. Coverage from N+ and Sin Embargo highlighted this as a major strategic move for the tech giant, while La Jornada framed the foldable as a key test for Apple’s new chief executive officer.
For consumers, the iPhone 18 Pro appears to be a refinement of the existing Pro lineup rather than a complete redesign, according to Applesfera’s analysis. The emphasis on camera and display upgrades aligns with Apple’s recent pattern of incremental improvements to its premium handsets.
Pre-order details for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max in Mexico were also reported by El Financiero, though specific dates and pricing were not included in the available summary.
As the iPhone 18 Pro hits the market, the next point of interest will be how its real-world performance in photography and screen quality measures up against the competition, particularly as Apple enters the foldable segment for the first time.
