Apple has announced the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, according to a listing attributed to Apple. The launch was reported on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Coverage of the release has come from several outlets. Tek.no published a report on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max launch outlining what is new, while Vietnam.vn reported that excitement around the iPhone 18 Pro launch remains high and that interest in the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max shows no sign of fading.
The same cluster of reports points to broader movement in Apple's lineup. TV 2 reported that Apple has confirmed it will launch a foldable phone. Separately, Kode24 carried a warning aimed at developers of hybrid apps regarding something called iPhone Duo.
The material available does not detail the specifications, pricing or release dates of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, nor does it describe the confirmed foldable device or the iPhone Duo beyond the headline references.
What stands out across the reporting is that attention is not fixed on a single product. The iPhone 18 Pro launch is drawing interest at the same time that the previous generation, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, continues to hold attention, according to Vietnam.vn.
For developers, the Kode24 report adds a cautionary note tied to hybrid apps and the iPhone Duo, suggesting the new hardware may affect how cross-platform software is built.
What to watch next: further details from Apple on the foldable phone it has confirmed, and any official information on the iPhone Duo referenced in developer-focused coverage.
