Apple released iOS 27 in Italy on Monday, according to Corriere della Sera, which reports that the iPhone software update is available starting today. The release covers not only iOS 27 but also iPadOS 27, watchOS 27 and macOS 27, HDblog.it reports.
Sky TG24 notes that the update arrives without the AI version of Siri. The other outlets in the coverage do not list the specific features included in this release.
Apple also announced that new safety functions for minors are now available, according to a company post. The company did not connect that announcement to the iOS 27 release in the material available.
Corriere della Sera's coverage includes guidance on how to install the update and which iPhone models are compatible, though the specific device list was not available in the source summary. Readers in Italy who want to know whether their handset supports iOS 27 should check that compatibility information before updating.
The absence of the AI-powered Siri is the most notable gap in this release, per Sky TG24. Apple has not said in the available material when that feature might reach users in Italy.
What to watch next: whether Apple confirms a timeline for bringing the AI Siri features to Italian users, and whether the minor-safety tools roll out more broadly alongside future updates.
